About the game
Minecraft is a sandbox construction game, the game was created by ideas from Infiniminer. The game was created by Markus Persson, the founder of Mojang AB. The game consists of players creating and destroying various types of cubes/blocks in a three dimensional world. The players character can destroy or create blocks to create a world of city's towns ect. The game has a multiplayer server function and multiple game modes. Minecraft is currently in beta, and available to players for €14.95 (~$20 in Canadian/American). Beta singleplayer and Beta multiplayer. Purchased, player can play in the user's web browser, or using the downloadable client. Minecraft Classic is available to anyone to play for free. The development of Minecraft started on the 10th of May 2009. The game could be pre-ordered for the full game started being accepted on the 13th of June 2009.
